Continuing Education at Massaro

The Herb Brooks Conference Room Served as a Classroom for 22 Insurance Industry Professionals

August 2010 -Most individuals in the insurance industry are required to receive 24 credits of CE, every two years, of continuing education to keep their license current. As a service to our associates in the insurance industry, Massaro Restoration provided a continued education class in June. A total of 22 people attended and received 4 credits toward their overall annual goal for continuing education. The class itself was an overview of commercial claims. The instructor, Harry Wesley (Rupp Fiore Insurance) made the class interesting including horror stories of claims and helpful tips on how to handle claims in certain situations. This class was so successful another is being planned for the near future. Our goal is to offer this service on a yearly basis.

Summer is finally here and although that horrific winter is behind us, surprisingly, people are still reporting damages from it. Gutters, roofs and porch damage are typical claims reported. With the consistent thunderstorms and rainfall lately, the situation hasn’t lessened much. Water has been leaking through roofs and wind has blown over trees, which have fallen onto structures as well.
