Disaster Strikes on June 17
August 2009 – Tim Mahaney, Carnegie Museum’s vice president of the facilities, planning and operations, made an emergency phone call to Massaro Restoration on June 17. The Carnegie Museum of Art and History had a flooding emergency throughout the facility due to the heavy rains.
The Massaro Restoration team immediately responded and worked on the water issue around the clock starting at 7:00 pm, until the following day at 11:00 pm. Mr. Mahaney was so impressed with our quick response and commitment to the clean-up that he personally called Joe Massaro, president and COO to thank him for the team’s diligence and hard work.
In addition to the Carnegie water damage, the restoration division responded to over 14 calls in a four day period for emergency clean-up service to both commercial and residential properties. We are currently working to restore the damaged properties to pre-loss condition.
