Massaro Restoration Prepares for Fall Claims

November 2010 - As fall approaches and temperatures begin to drop, Massaro Restoration is prepared to handle an increase in insurance claims. Mark Anchors, a restoration professional with twenty years of experience, was recently hired as a project manager to help manage the increase in claims.

During the fall, severe, fast-moving storms called “microbursts” can occur and cause damage as a result of devastating winds. The most severe of these storms can approach tornado-like destruction. Recently, the South Hills area experienced a small microburst, which produced fallen trees, some of which damaged homes. Thankfully, this particular storm was relatively limited in its severity. Microbursts can be dangerous though, so it is important to take notice of weather changes and take caution by staying away from windows and taking cover in a basement if the conditions escalate.
